I am a German illustrator living and working in Perth, Australia.
Hugely influenced by my parents' professional interest in anything living or once alive, I spent most of my early childhood sitting amidst stuffed animals and pet stick insects, browsing and sniffing my way through the vast collection of biology books at hand.
I still love the smell of printed paper and spotting the patterns that occur in nature. Today, this affinity is evident in my texture-rich collage illustrations, created by combining scans of collected materials with my vector drawings, mostly of flora and fauna.
